Dear Friends
 
Well it's now a month since I finished the bike ride - yes, I finished - and I wanted to write and thank you all for your very generous support.  With your help I have managed to raise £2,085!
 
This is well beyond what I had hoped to raise, and a total that would've easily secured me a free holiday had I been a bit smarter :-)
 
It was mostly good fun, if very tiring, and during the tougher moments I was inspired by all of your comments, including "Is it as far as Sotogrande the long way?", "I want evidence that you actually do this", "Burn rubber and give good bicycle, my brother", "Good luck and please don't quit halfway through when the going gets tough as you did in FF", "If you promise to do the whole of the ride in your sleeping pants I'm happy to double my donation", and "Chocs and butt massage await u so hurry!".  I'm still waiting on the latter, you know who you are!

I'm already planning for the sequel at some point next year and if anyone wants to join me please let me know.  Most likely is Paris-Geneva however there has been talk of Lands End-John O'Groats...and I'm open to any other suggestions people may have.
