Monday 31st May - Day 16 - 56 miles Helmsdale to John O'Groats
The final day
Steve received text from Brenda, Mikes wife and she says they are all feeling a little nervous today!
After a delay to let the sea mist clear Mike sets off at around 11.30am. At 14.56 on 31/05/04 Mike reaches John O'Groats 15 days, 4 hours and 30 minutes after leaving Lands End and 1000 miles covered.
It is back to the John O'Groats guest house for a bottle of bubbly and a well earned rest!

A massive thank you to Mike (and back up team of Brenda & Jean) & congratulations on a fantastic achievement.
