We have decided as a charity that Rianna's Furaha Children's Home would not have an individual child sponsorship scheme but instead have a "Sponsor the Children at Rianna's Furaha Home". 

The reason for this decision is because we know we will have around 40 children of mixed ages and wanted them all to feel that they had people sponsoring them all. We know that other charities find it easier to obtain sponsorship for the younger children but find it more difficult to find sponsors for the older ones and we didn't want any of the children to feel different. 

We do not want anyone to feel that they cannot contribute, because they cannot commit to the actual monthly amount that it costs. Although it costs £25 per month to look after the child at the home and a further £25 per month if they are of school age for books, uniforms and fees, we would appreciate anything you are willing to give, whether on a monthly basis or a single "one off" contribution.
